Background of the project
Improper disposal of kitchen waste: 50.3% landfill, 38.2% incineration, 11.5% high-temperature composting, biological treatment, anaerobic digestion. The waste of resources is serious. Demand for degradable plastics: The output is far lower than the demand PLA plastics account for 49.21%.
Design
Technological breakthrough point 1: utilize the different parasitic properties of different filamentous fungi to recycle the remains of strains; technological breakthrough point 2: use the original circular fermentation model to turn mixed waste into single type waste through microorganisms to achieve rapid production.
Project product
With the help of genetic engineering and self-developed emerging biological production methods, this project will solve the following pain points, combine synthetic biology with polymer material polymerization technology, break through the technical barriers of polylactic acid production, and realize domestic production in industrial applications.
